Meditation's effects on specific physiological factors

The effectiveness of meditation can vary from person to person, and it's essential to find a meditation practice that suits your preferences and needs. The purpose of the study is to find out the meditation's effects on specific physiological factors. There are thirty (30) male and female students who were pursuing graduation and were randomly selected as subjects for this study. The subjects’ ages ranged from 18 to 25 years. All the subjects were physically fit and thus capable of performing all the tests efficiently. The variables chosen for this study are: systolic blood pressure Diastolic Blood Pressure For each of the chosen groups, the results pertaining to significant differences, if any, between the pre-test and post-test means of the two groups (experimental and control groups) were assessed by employing the paired t test. It was hypothesized that there would be a significant impact of meditation on selected physiological variables (systolic and diastolic blood pressure).
