The speed of motor performance is one of the necessary qualities for most sports games, as it enables the player to perform basic skills in football in the shortest possible time, and training plays a prominent role in developing it to the highest degree. As a result of the researcher's field experience as a football coach, he noticed that there is a weakness in the speed of motor performance among players, especially the Deaf and Dumb Committee in Muthanna. The reason for this is due to the lack of focus of training programs on developing this quality, which makes players face difficulty in making decisions. This is where the research problem came from. The study aims to find out the importance of preparing special exercises to improve the speed of motor performance in an effort to improve the performance of some basic skills in football. The researcher used the experimental method as a better method to solve the research problem, so the researcher used the method of equivalent groups, which is the experimental group and the control group, where the research community was defined as the players of the deaf and mute team in Al-Muthanna in football for the 2021-2022 sports season, numbering (20) players. As for the research sample, the community was divided into two groups (control and experimental), with (10) players per group. Homogeneity and equivalence were carried out between the control and experimental research groups according to the variables adopted in the research. The researcher relied on discussing the results in a scientific manner to ensure achieving the results of the study, as the conclusions showed that special exercises had a positive role in developing the speed of motor performance for some basic skills represented in (handling, rolling,) and the number of training units used by the researcher was appropriate in developing the research sample for the skills studied. As for the recommendations, they indicated the necessity of using different methods to train football and not relying on one method, as this segment of players needs special exercises.
