Exercises Tabata-method to develop maximum speed and strength characterized speed and achievement for long jumper

Abstract:

The study aimed to prepare some exercises in (Tabata-method) for the long jumpers, identifying effect of (Tabata-method) on the some physical elements or abilities and achievement of long jumper. Researchers used experimental method by designing one group with pre and post-test. research community was selected from jumpers of Najaf Governorate for athletics from long jump for sports season (2024/2025), and number them was (5) jumpers, all of whom were chosen to represent a sample. Research in a comprehensive manner (100%). One of most important results reached by researcher is that: Tabata method has a clear effect on developing maximum speed, Tabata method has a clear impact on developing strength characterized speed, and Tabata method has a clear effect in achieving best achievement between pre-test and post-test, and in favor of post-test. One of the very important about recommendations recommended by researchers is that: Necessity of using modern methods in training curricula, researchers recommend using this method according to scientific basis, and conducting research on other disciplines and other variables to find out effectiveness of this new method.
