The present study aimed to investigate the differences in selected physiological (pulse rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure) and psychological (anxiety and stress) variables among Yoga and Non-Yoga male practitioners aged 35-45 years from Shivamogga and Chikkamagalur districts. A total of 200 participants were equally divided between Yoga and Non-Yoga groups. Standardized tools such as an automated digital blood pressure monitor, Beck Anxiety Inventory (1988), and Perceived Stress Scale (1983) were used. Results revealed that Yoga practitioners generally exhibited better physiological profiles, though not statistically significant. However, psychological variables, especially stress levels, showed significant improvement in Yoga groups, particularly in the Shivamogga district. These findings highlight the role of Yoga in promoting cardiovascular regulation and mental well-being. The study recommends integrating Yoga into community health programs, workplace wellness modules, and public awareness campaigns. Further research with larger and more diverse samples is encouraged to validate and expand these outcomes.
