dominant shoulder in badminton players with painful shoulder.
Design: Descriptive study.
Setting: 30Elite badminton players with painful shoulder were taken.
Methods: 30 subjects were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, Informed consent was obtained from subjects after explaining the procedure, Measurement of work ratios of shoulder of internal and external rotators and then Data analysis was done.
Outcome Measure: Peak torque
Result: Present study shows that there are significant differences with the work ratios of rotators of dominant shoulder being less than the non dominant shoulder in badminton athletes with painful shoulder.
Conclusion: The present study, it is concluded that there is significant differences in isokinetic work ratio of eccentric antagonist/ concentric agonist between dominant and non dominant shoulders exist in athletes involved in playing badminton. Data indicates these differences were caused by increased internal rotators work values in the non dominant shoulder.
