Physical fitness represents an individual’s ability to adapt and respond effectively to both biological and social environments. It reflects how the body adjusts to physical demands and how lifestyle, social interactions, and environmental factors influence overall well-being. The present study investigated the effects of Zumba dance training, Swiss ball exercises, and their combined application on body mass index (BMI) and body image satisfaction among college-aged women. A total of 100 female students aged 18–23 from Lovely Professional University, Punjab, were randomly divided into four equal groups (n = 25). Group A underwent Zumba dance training, Group B engaged in Swiss ball training, Group C received a combination of Zumba and Swiss ball exercises, while Group D served as the control group with no intervention. Data were analyzed using ANCOVA at the 0.05 level of significance. Findings indicated that all experimental groups showed significant improvements in BMI and body image satisfaction compared to the control group. Notably, the combined Zumba and Swiss ball training group exhibited the most substantial positive changes. These results suggest that integrating rhythmic aerobic activity with core-strengthening exercises can be highly effective in improving physical fitness and enhancing perceptions of body image among college women.
